Chrony Days!

Here I am sitting around the Photo Desk at the University Of Utah 'Daily Chronicle'. You know.... the student newspaper. I was the photo editor, a photographer, the night editor a lot and I wrote stuff occasionally. I spent 4 years here. I spent way more time here than I did studying. We hated hypocrisy, and exposed it any chance we got. This pissed people off. We even managed to get all of the official funds cut off from the paper becaused we pissed of the President of the University. (This fellow was a particularly despicable person named David Pierpont Gardener. He later he became the University of California's problem. What a small minded little twit that guy was.)

But I digress.

These are the days when EVERYbody was a 'soul brother'. Nobody did a straight on handshake. It had to be elaborate. Hugging people you barely knew was mandatory. Even the police smoked dope. I remember going to parties with naked people walking around, and people hardly even noticed, let alone cared. The sanitized version of this period that you see in the media these days makes me laugh!
